Explores foundational concepts in cybersecurity, data science, IoT, and AI. Multiple activities and quizzes engage students and reinforce learning.
Benefits of the Courses
Teaches entry-level IT courses that highlight the importance of safeguarding digital assets against various threats, how to secure digital assets, analyze and visualize data, and understand how interconnected devices drive digital transformation. The course also introduces AI fundamentals, such as machine learning and neural networks, showcasing their impact on technology and society.

Teaching introductory courses can help students with valuable skills companies continually seek from professionals that varies from Cybersecurity to fundamental of AI and machine learning. Entry-level job roles include Cybersecurity Technician, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Tier 1 Support Desk.

Incentives for students to join the Learn-A-Thon
Students who participate in the Learn-a-Thon and pass the the elegible course exam with a 70% or above on any attempt will be awarded an Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Data Science, Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation or Introduction to Modern AI digital badge.
Students that participate in the Learn-a-Thon will receive a Cisco Learn-a-Thon experience digital badge.
A Cisco digital badge is an emblem distinguishing an achievement that can be shared and validated digitally on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Xing, via Email, shared link; embed code into web page or blog.
After the Learn-a-Thon, we encourage students to continue to complete all four courses: Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Data Science, Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation or Introduction to Modern AI.

The Top 5 (1-5) instructors with the most unique student participants will win prizes and a certificate of recognition. Only one prize per instructor will be awarded.
How Academies Join the Learn-A-Thon

Host a 12-week event virtually or at your educational institute.

Assign a dedicated instructor to manage the Learn-a-Thon that will read the terms and conditions and set up the course.

Dedicate an instructor to set up any of the eligible courses on NetAcad.com using the required naming convention as stated in the terms and conditions.

Dedicate an instructor to complete registration form to sign up its academy and class to participate in the Learn-a-Thon.

Allocates an on-site lab facility with internet connection, if applicable. Encourage students to complete course and earn a digital badge.

All students who complete and pass the eligible course exams on NetAcad.com will earn a digital badge to share on social media platforms.

Have the highest number of unique student participants and you’ll be in the running to win some great prizes.
